This is the second class in a two semester series designed to give students fundamental skills useful for creating games, applications, and scientific tools. In the second semester, the class will be learn about object oriented program design, basic data structures, games, and interactive graphical applications.



The textbook for this course, Think Python: How to Think Like a Computer Scientist, is free. All readings and software for this course are free.

This is the first class in a two semester series designed to give students fundamental skills useful for creating games, applications, and scientific tools. In the first semester, the class will focus on seeing the world as a set of processes. Students will be taught how to write applications that use text input and produce output in the form of text based interaction and pictures.


In the second semester, the class will be learn about object oriented program design, basic data structures, games, and interactive graphical applications.
